According to a promotional video shared on the official Retro Games YouTube channel yesterday, the system will be released on March 25, 2022. Pre-orders for the A500 Mini are already available for the console, which includes the original style 2-button mouse, newly engineered 8-button precision gamepad, and a price tag of $139.99.

Eh maybe if it's less than a hundy and I can load my own games onto it. Yeah yeah I know about UAE but this thing looks cute, too bad the keyboard isn't real.

Necro post a year later... got one for xmas. Nostalgia really paints a pretty picture in our head, but playing some of these games from late 80's / early 90's... not even as good as Genesis games. The included games are mostly trash except for Another World and Zool.

I did find this though.... https://www.aminimiga.com/ let you get to workbench and has a ton of game + demo roms... but the games I remember fondly from my youth are terrible now. Defender of the Crown was one of my C64 favorites, the Amiga version looks like ***. Archon... etc.

I found some youtube videos for this Pandory thing https://github.com/emuchicken/pandory-a500/releases which adds other emulators but doesn't come with roms. We are left to hunt for those on our own.

I dunno... this one might be going back. I have a Pi 2 and 3 with retropie for arcade stuff, I don't really need another emulation box....

It is really **** cute though.
