Back in 2017, Adobe announced that it would cease support for its classic multimedia software, Flash Player, at the end of 2020. With today being December 31, 2020, the company will officially cut ties with the decades-old platform at the stroke of midnight. Flash content will also be blocked from running in Flash Player beginning on January 12.
“Since Adobe will no longer be supporting Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021, Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems,” the company wrote on its Adobe Flash Player EOL General Information Page. “Some users may continue to see...
