Alan Wake and Control, two of Remedy Entertainment's biggest video game franchises, are set to expand with even more sequels, according to a new extensive report regarding Remedy that financial services company Inderes published in December, one that lists an Alan Wake 3 and Control 3 in a section pertaining to the Finnish studio's future game projects, scheduled for release in 2029 and 2030, respectively.

Control 3? There isn't even a Control 2 yet, you maniacs!

And how about Max Payne? Oh, yeah I forgot. They sold their only worthwhile IP to rockstar who took it out behind the building make it dig its own grave then shot it in the head and buried it.

Read between the lines? Maybe a Control 2 is already in the pipe. I wasn't all that crazy about the first one, so more coming doesn't really interest me at all. But I suppose the property has its fans. And that's ok.
 
I don't recall hearing anything about a Max Payne 1 and 2 remake before. Not sure how I feel about that.

I heard about Control 2 being in production, but still talking about a third before the second one is even out is helluva optimistic, especially in the current climate.

If 2 doesn't do well, they can cancel 3 ... that seems to be the industry norm.
