Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection Getting Remastered for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Disney+

James Cameron’s critically acclaimed and oft-quoted Alien sequel, Aliens, is getting a 4K remaster alongside David Fincher’s Alien 3 and Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Alien Resurrection films. The news comes from The Digital Fix, which published an article revealing that the remastered versions would be released not only in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray but Disney’s international Star service as well. Star is a recently launched subset of Disney+ that will feature more adult-oriented programming.

Disney announced 'recently' they were moving away from UHD and projects like The Abyss UHD remaster were cancelled.
Hopefully this is true.
 
The new version will also include unskippable trigger warnings I guess, if not outright censored.
 
I bet they're going to not put HDR on the disc version like they did with Avengers: Endgame, reserving it for Disney+. Disney can go screw off with that nonsense.
