Alienware has revealed the price for the AW3423DW, a curved gaming monitor that’s on many display enthusiasts’ radars for being the first to leverage a quantum dot OLED panel for greater picture quality.

That actually is better than expected. Not a bargain, but a monitor that's finally price and spec competitive with a LG C-series.

Long on hype, short on specifics. For example, what is it's resolution? Monitors are more than size, panel type, GtG, and refresh rate. Call me a noob if you want, but the point of marketing should be to inform the potential customer about the product features, not hide features and ask the customer dig for them. Customers these days are lazy, and there are many brands of cola on the market that are just as tasty. Make it easy for me to throw dollars your way.

I paid more for my 38" - and still far less than retail. I think this is priced in the sweet spot.

But what I really want to see is text rendering, and whether that's been improved over LG's TV-focused sub-pixel layout. Really not interested in fighting that fight, I already have several VA panels that have blurry text at native resolution.
