A user on Chinese video-sharing website Bilbili has shared the world’s first alleged benchmarks for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. According to a GPU-Z screenshot shown in the video, the GPU boasts an increased CUDA Core count of 10,496, which matches that of the GeForce RTX 3090, as well as 20 GB of VRAM—10 GB more than the standard flagship. The specifications echo previous rumors that suggested the Titanium variant would line up rather closely with NVIDIA’s BFGPU.

“[…] there is no difference in performance from the 3090,” the host wrote (machine translation). “The only difference is the loss of memory bandwidth (320b like the 3080). Since this time the PCB is an engineering version and has been repaired, there is no...

I wonder how many 3080 Ti's will be in mining farms before they're available on the retail market.

Is more memory better for mining? Or is it memory bus width that is important?

That's my question. More memory means more power draw too, and if it doesn't increase the ROI, it'll be less desirable. Then again it'll still be desirable versus what's actually available on the market so I don't think that a small difference in power draw will deter miners. They're buying up anything that'll mine, unfortunately.

Still, this is the card I've been waiting for. Time to start prepping the SO... :)

The SO, I was thinking more the VO.
As in vaseline ointment... You know, "for the wallet".

Why even post this garbage?

There won't be a 3080ti for quite some time, if ever.
Wait for the 4080 lol, that will actually happen before 2023...
