Amazon Games has announced that it is delaying its upcoming MMO, New World, from its previously planned release date of August 31, 2021 to September 28, 2021. The developer confirmed the month-long delay in a message shared on Twitter yesterday, which explained that the team would be implementing some improvements to the game following its recently concluded beta. Amazon’s New World team will also use the additional time to “smash bugs, improve stability, and polish the game.” New World has garnered quite a bit of controversy recently due to allegations that it was killing select high-performance graphics cards such as EVGA’s GeForce RTX 3090 models.
