Mass Effect, the military sci-fi media franchise that BioWare launched in November 2007 with its titular and critically acclaimed action RPG before releasing several sequels, including Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, and Mass Effect: Andromeda, may be getting the live-action treatment, according to a new report that explains how a Mass Effect TV series is officially in development at Amazon MGM Studios, the television production and distribution studio owned by Amazon.
