AMD’s New $120 Ryzen 3 3300X Processor Is on Par with Intel’s 2017 Flagship, the Core i7-7700K

Can you believe that the budget processors of today can already compete with flagships that are just a few years old? According to early Geekbench numbers spotted by APISAK, AMD’s new Zen 2-based Ryzen 3 3300X processor performs almost as good as a Core i7-7700K, Intel’s flagship processor for 2017. That CPU launched for about $330 – but AMD’s offering will be available later next month for just $120.

Well they are because of AMD, not because Intel.
Had AMD gone broke everyone would be excited by their 4core 5.2 ghz turbo, 1199$ top of the line chip made in the 14+++++++++ process. There would be lengthy discussions on the internet about buying this chip vs the slightly cooler, slighy lower clocks 10nm 4 core 4.9 ghz but overclockable to 5-5.1 chip at 999$. None with pcie4 each with its own socket, and everyone ever so happy.
