AMD CES 2020 Keynote Recap

Good read.
Really seems like AMD has some great focus going right now.
I am looking forward to the mobile stuff. I hated that when I wanted a laptop that I was mostly limited to an Intel cpu.
 
Did you guys manage to make the contacts so AMD will start sampling you on their new products?!

They have been sampling us on new products as far back as the Ryzen 3000 launch - if you go back and look, you'll see that we have launch day reviews for the Ryzen 3000, Radeon 5700 and Radeon 5500 parts. We did not get sampled for the 3950X and Threadripper 3000 series - they apparently had a very limited number of samples (and our traffic is still a rounding error compared to the major sites). It sounds like they plan on sampling us at least a 3950X when the PR folks get more in, but we've already bought one and reviewed it - stay tuned for next week on that to drop!

We've actually been sampled by AMD since our beginning in July, the entire Ryzen 7 launch in July.

Yea me too. I'm tempted to get one of those if the performance is better than my current laptop and then give my current one to my son.
