It appears that AMD may be intentionally distancing itself from the mining market to promote the idea that its latest graphics cards, the Radeon RX 6000 Series, are strictly designed for gamers. Igor Wallossek has shared internal instructions for AIBs mandating the usage of specific terminology in GPU product listings—namely, “Gaming Graphics Card.”
“Please note that per AMD requirements, please use the following specifically as listing names for the products with your customers,” the note reads, followed by the requested nomenclature.
