It appears that AMD is close to launching two new Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors. Following up on Patrick Schur’s tweet from October, momomo_us has revealed that the chips being teased are the Ryzen 7 5800 and Ryzen 9 5900, which are basically lower-powered versions of the current “X” SKUs. Both of these CPUs carry a TDP of 65 watts.
The Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X, in comparison, feature a default TDP of 105 watts.
