AMD’s heavily rumored refresh of Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards will only comprise three models.



That’s according to the latest gossip from hardware leakers such as Moore’s Law Is Dead, who took to Twitter yesterday to confidently state that AMD has no plans to release a Radeon RX 6850 XT. The implication has led to the theory that red team will only be refreshing its full-die models, equating to a small lineup that only comprises boosted versions of the Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6700 XT, and Radeon RX 6600 XT, graphics cards that leverage the full Navi 21, Navi 22, and Navi 23 GPUs, respectively.

This sounds like more aggressive binning in the first place rather than any sort of respin, and if that’s the case this makes sense.

yeah, probably just binned dies with a bump in boost clocks and faster ram.
 
Yea as a 6800xt owner I take no issue with this. Maybe some more sku's will help people get cards. More cards = better games to use them!
