AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card could be more expensive than expected for the average buyer. According to sources with French hardware site Cowcotland, the Radeon RX 6600 XT will be sold in stores for more than 499 euros ($587), or even as high as 549 euros ($646), when it launches later this year. While these prices shouldn’t be confused with whatever red team ultimately decides upon for the Radeon RX 6600 XT, it’s unlikely that any average enthusiast will get the privilege of paying anything close to MSRP. (According to a recent video shared by YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead, the Radeon RX 6600 XT’s MSRP will be $350 to $379.) AMD will reportedly launch its Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics cards by August 11.
There will probably be, as with every launch, a few cheaper cards that stick to the “magic MRSP” advertised by the parent...
