Patrick Schur has shared some purported specifications for AMD’s midrange RDNA 2 graphics cards, the Radeon RX 6700 XT and Radeon RX 6700.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT (NV22 XT) will supposedly feature a TGP of 186 to 211 watts, while the Radeon RX 6700 (NV22 XTL) will supposedly feature a TGP of 146 to 156 watts. These specifications are quite a bit lower than the previous generation’s Radeon RX 5700 XT and Radeon RX 5700, which are listed with TBPs of 225 watts and 180 watts, respectively.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT and Radeon RX 6700’s power demands also appear to be lower than NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3070, which is one of the GPUs they’ll be directly competing against. That model...
