The Radeon RX 9070 Series, a new generation of GPUs for gamers that AMD's Dr. Lisa Su has said will deliver better ray-tracing performance and usher in high-quality 4K gaming to the mainstream courtesy of the RDNA 4 architecture, may be more expensive than expected, according to new retail listings from Canada Computers & Electronics that suggest custom models of the GPUs from PowerColor and XFX will range in price from $839 CAD (~$586 USD) to $1,229 CAD (~$865 USD)—a figure that would bring the XT option closely to the MSRP of the Radeon RX 7900 XT, a lesser flagship that AMD launched for $899 USD in December 2022.
