AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.8.2 Driver for Myst, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Little Nightmares II: Enhanced Edition

AMD has released its Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.8.2 driver. The latest driver package adds support for two of this week’s bigger releases, Cyan’s Myst remaster and Aliens: Fireteam Elite, a cooperative third-person survival shooter set in the Alien universe.



AMD’s Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.8.2 driver also adds support for Little Nightmares II: Enhanced Edition. This is a newer version of the suspenseful horror game with graphical improvements such as ray-traced reflections, improved volumetric shadows, and increased game details.



According to AMD, Radeon RX 6800 XT owners should experience a 6 percent improvement in performance in Myst at the 4K Medium setting with ray tracing enabled when using the Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.8.2 driver versus the previous release (21.8.1).
