If you want to cut your teeth on the Zen 2 pavement, I guess the 3300x isn't terrible.

The only issue is that over here, the 3600 is available for only 27% more dollary-doodlies - and I hear that the recent silicon isn't nearly as trash-tier as my release-day 3600.

So yes - if you wanna cut your teeth on Zen 2 memory overclocking, but you for some reason don't want to spend the extra for a 3600 - that is what I can see this CPU being useful for.

just don't expect miracles from clocking just the CPU to hell ;)
