AMD Ryzen 5 4650U’s Vega iGPU 80% Faster than i7-10710U’s, according to 3DMark Results

AMD’s incoming lineup of mobile Ryzen 4000 “Renoir” processors is set to bring some serious graphics firepower to the laptop space.



According to new results published on 3DMark, the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U – which flaunts Vega-based integrated graphics – absolutely demolishes Intel’s Core i7-10710U and its UHD Graphics 620 iGPU solution.



AMD’s 7 nm chip achieved a 3DMark score of 2413 in the Fire Strike benchmark, while Intel’s Comet Lake part scored only 1323. That’s a difference of over 80 percent. The Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U’s Graphics Score also wiped the floor with the Core i7-10710U’s by a similar percentage – 2600 vs. 1444.
