AMD Ryzen 5000 Series CPU Support Added to Five More ASRock X370 Motherboards

ASRock has already earned the title of being the first manufacturer to add Ryzen 5000 Series support to an X370 motherboard, having released a firmware update for its X370 Pro4 motherboard back in January, but the company isn’t stopping there to appease enthusiasts who want to upgrade to the latest chips but are stuck on older AM4 hardware.



As indicated by an official post on ASRock’s official subreddit, ASRock has uploaded new BIOS updates for five additional X370 motherboards that include support for AMD’s Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors, codenamed Vermeer. They comprise three Fatal1ty boards and two X370 Killer boards, all of which can now be updated to BIOS version 7.03. ASRock has warned that the new update will remove support for 2016’s Bristol Ridge chips, however.
