VideoCardz has shared the official slides for AMD’s Zen 3-based Ryzen 5000 Series “Cezanne” Mobile processors. The slides confirm various aspects of the APU’s engineering and architecture, such as a 180 mm2 die size, 10.78 billion transistors, double the L3 Cache (16 MB), and an updated memory controller with LPDDR4 memory support.
According to one slide in which AMD elaborates upon its design goals for Zen 3, Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile processors represent a “historic” single-thread performance uplift, with select SKUs offering an impressive 23 percent improvement in that department (e.g., Ryzen 9 5980HX vs. Ryzen 9 4900H).
