The Ryzen 7 9800X3D, a new $479 desktop gaming CPU that AMD launched in October 2024 based on the "Zen 5" architecture with 2nd Gen AMD 3D V-Cache technology, has already outsold all other Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs combined at Mindfactory, including the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X, according to sales figures for the chip that can be found on the German retailer's official website.
