AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12C/24T, Zen 3) Reportedly 25 Percent Faster Than Ryzen 9 3900X (Single Thread)

HXL has shared the first purported CPU-Z scores for AMD’s upcoming 12C/24T Zen 3 processor, the Ryzen 9 5900X. While the clock speeds are unknown, the chip scored 652.8 points in the single-threaded benchmark and 9481.8 points in the multi-threaded benchmark, which is very impressive.



According to VideoCardz and Wccftech’s coverage, that’s about 25 percent and 16 percent better than a Ryzen 9 3900X in single-threaded and multi-threaded performance, respectively. The Ryzen 9 5900X’s multi-threaded score is also a mind-blowing 75 percent improvement over the Ryzen 7 3700X.

I can't believe these things, rumor are suggesting almost a blowout... I can't help but be cautious about it.
 
Zen3 still ddr4 though right? When is ddr5 five coming.. feels like forever in ddr4 (computers in general)

Yikes, I'm still running DDR3 in all my rigs. I guess I'm a bit behind.
