Pricing for the Ryzen 9000 Series, a new generation of desktop processors from AMD that is set to deliver several improvements thanks to red team's latest Zen 5 architecture, including a 16% average increase in IPC, will launch with MSRPs ranging from $279 to $599, according to early retail listings that have appeared at major retailers that include Best Buy.

The Ryzen 5 5600 was $199 at launch in April 2022

The Ryzen 5 3600 was $199 at launch in July 2019

The Ryzen 5 2600 was $199 at launch in April 2018

The Ryzen 5 1600 was $219 at launch in April 2017

So, there are some fluctuations both down and up over time, but mostly stable. Not bad considering how much inflation there has been in the last few years. This latest one is a bit of an increase though.
