AMD will launch its third-generation, Zen 3-based EPYC processors (code-named “Milan”) next week. The company revealed the news in a press release published on its official site today, which confirmed that the CPUs would be announced as part of a digital event slated for March 15. This presentation will include appearances by President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su and a handful of other executives, who will presumably lift the veil on third-gen EPYC’s complete set of specifications and clarify what kind of performance increases users can expect from its Zen 2-based predecessors.
