Oooo now THIS is interesting. Especially if it is GPU hardware accelerated. Knowing AMD it'll work with most any modern GPU too.
 
Hard to say whether it'd be open or not - Intel has something similar planned for their GPUs, whenever those materialize for discerning analysis.

Bigger question will be integration with other services. Even Nvidia hasn't made inroads here that I'm aware of, and things like Zoom and Teams integration would be killer features IMO, along with the likes of Discord.
