Apple’s Latest MacBook Air Starts at Just $999 with 256 GB of SSD Storage and Magic Keyboard

Apple has announced a new MacBook Air, and it appears to be a relative bargain compared to previous models.



The latest starts at just $999, offering 256 GB of SSD storage instead of a paltry 128 GB. It also features a newly designed “Magic” keyboard with better scissor switches, as well as the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors for twice the performance. (Graphics performance is reportedly 80-percent faster thanks to the chip’s Iris Plus Graphics.)

I guess the rumors of moving to ARM once again prove to be unsubstantiated. This would have been one of the ideal products to initiate a jump.

Of course, they also just announced a new iPad Pro, with new keyboard/stand and trackpad support, so there is that too...

Funny how either of them is less expensive than a new phone.

Ok, I realize it's not Apples to Apples (well it, is, haha) but...
Almost surprising that Apple sticks with Intel for mobile devices anymore really.

Also, new 2020 iPad Pro has the same CPU as the 2019, but does have revamped graphics cores. Kinda surprising they stuck with the A12 there, since the A13 is out in the iPhone 11, but can't say it really lacks for performance or that there is really any competition to Apple's A1x lineup.
