We recently learned that Apple is planning to dip its feet into the virtual reality market with a premium headset that will compete against the likes of Oculus’ Quest and Sony’s PlayStation VR products. While Bloomberg’s initial report was light in terms of hardware specifications, The Information shared a story today (via 9to5Mac) claiming that the mixed-reality headset will feature a pair of 8K UHD displays and numerous cameras for tracking hand and eye movements.
