ASRock Announces Ryzen 5000 Series BIOS Updates for X570/B550/A520 Motherboards

ASRock has published a short but sweet article reminding its customers that BIOSes enabling support for AMD’s Ryzen 5000 Series processors are already available for many of the company’s popular motherboards, such as the X570 Taichi, X570 Phantom Gaming X, and B550 Steel Legend. You can check out the full list of the motherboards and the relevant BIOS versions in the table below.



According to an official slide from AMD, BIOS updates for 400 Series chipset motherboards (i.e., X470, B450) are still being developed by ASRock and other partners. Those should be released before the end of January, 2021.

hmm .. haven't these been out for awhile now? ..at least the one for my Steel Legend has.
 
Time to check my boards to see if I'm feeling (upgrade) lucky...

edit - nope not yet. Last bios for my asrock x470 master sli/ac only supports 3rd gen Ryzen (up to XT) so far.
