It's been months since AMD launched its Ryzen 7000 Series processors and made the promise that new AM5 motherboards would be available starting at an SEP of $125 USD, but it looks like that promise has finally become a reality. As highlighted by AMD's David McAfee, the B650M-HDV, a microATX motherboard manufactured by ASRock, has begun surfacing at retailers that include Newegg, and it only costs $124.99. Critics of AMD have said that AM5 motherboard prices have been a major barrier to adoption, with some premium X670 Extreme options meeting or exceeding $1K.
