ASRock is the first manufacturer to update an older X370 motherboard to support AMD’s latest generation of desktop processors, the Ryzen 5000 Series.



As spotted by KOMACHI_ENSAKA, ASRock has released a BIOS update for its X370 Pro 4 motherboard with an updated AGESA that includes support for both Renoir and Vermeer CPUs. This was partially accomplished by removing support for Bristol Ridge, chips that were originally released in 2016.
