ASUS announced an assortment of exciting new products that leverage OLED technology during its “Create the Uncreated” online launch event today. Two of the standouts are the ZenScreen OLED and ProArt Display OLED PA32DC, both of which are primed to offer stunning image quality.



ZenScreen OLED



The ZenScreen OLED is the world’s very first 13-inch OLED portable monitor. This is a huge deal for users who are looking for a high-quality display that’s much smaller in size, as the majority of portable monitors on the market today are limited to IPS screens with relatively poor contrast ratios. Many of these also seem to suffer from backlight bleeding, which won’t be an issue on the ZenScreen OLED.



Available in both 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch models, ASUS’ ZenScreen OLED features 1920 x 1080 resolution and boasts infinite contrast for true blacks to bring out the...

Why would I want a 13 inch portable monitor? I get it for a travelling business person but even then I'd want a 24 inch maybe. Or at least 17... but a 13 inch? Why two small and cumbersome to deal with small screens?
 
I guess since OLED monitors are starting to come out now, we really aren't worried about menu bar burn-in anymore?

If you're already using a 13"-class laptop, it should match up nicely while also traveling nicely. Could also be useful as a photography or videography monitor, something we do with laptops currently for product photography and macro as the TVs are both 55" :D
