1. If you want this router it is VERY doubtful you need to implement QOS settings.
2. QOS settings SUCK and make everything you do OTHER than gaming feel slow on your high speed network. (ok likely only the folks like us will notice that.)
3. I have a nice ASUS router now. No not one of their spider like bricks but a good one. I do like the AiProtect function built in. And I update it regularly. but it also locks up and requires a hard reboot every 2 months or so. Kind of a pain.
They use AiProtect (which protects by analyzing traffic. And actively blocks bad traffic it has signatures for. It's nice and even with just my wife and I at home I can see blocked sites because of how much trash is on the internet.)
