Software engineer Patrick Schur has shared a series of engine clocks for what is purportedly an ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 6800 XT. There were two power configurations tested (a 255-watt and 289-watt model), and the results appear to be equally spectacular in both.
In a group of 3DMark 11 tests, the 289-watt ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 6800 XT managed to hit clocks of up to 2,291 on average, with max clocks going as high as 2,556 MHz. That’s a huge improvement over the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition, which only boosts to 1,980.
