The Swift OLED PG27AQDP, a new gaming monitor that is said to be the world's first to boast a 1440p 480 Hz OLED display, featuring a 26.5-inch WOLED panel with anti-glare coating, 0.03 ms response time, and a new RWGB subpixel layout for clearer text, will be available at retailers for $999, ASUS has announced at Gamescom 2024.

That price, if it holds, actually isn't terrible.
 
LGs new pixel layout does indeed look promising - but it's still not RGB, and at 1440p (i.e., no scaling), IMO it's gonna look as blurry as a BGR VA. That is to say, probably not great for anything involving text.

The 4k ones at 32" are probably a better option (and if they make those in 27", even better if you want something smaller than 32").
