Impressive board and as nice as it is I don't need 10 gig ethernet. And I wonder a the PCIE lanes for all of the peripherals.

If you don't, nearly any X870E board will do. Just depends on what other QoL features you're looking for; unfortunately, we'll be waiting for the NDAs to expire to learn about PCIe lane configuration, or so every 'preview' has told me thus far.
