be quiet! has announced that its new series of Pure Wings 3 fans will be available for purchase from retailers beginning on Tuesday, November 7, at a starting price of $9.90. The new fans, which come in 120/140 mm sizes and three different versions (3-pin, 4-pin PWM, 4-pin PWM high-speed), feature a new, optimized fan frame that is said to minimize air leakage, with the PWM high-speed options capable of delivering speeds of up to 2,100 RPM with nine airflow-optimized fan blades. These high-speed models also feature a closed loop motor that be quiet! says allows their speeds to always stay on the same level, despite the resistance.
