Enthusiasts who have been struggling to get their hands on one of NVIDIA’s popular GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards may want to consider stopping by Best Buy early in the morning tomorrow, as the electronics retailer will finally have some for sale again.



Per tradition, only select Best Buy stores will be participating in this GeForce RTX 30 Series in-store only event. The official list can be found here. (The site appears to keep going down due to traffic, but keep trying.)



Readers may want to avoid a spreadsheet from GPU Restock Monitor that’s being shared by major outlets (see tweet below). It suggests that the chain will have as many as 17,000 GeForce RTX 30 Series units to sell in total, but the list...

I raise you my GeForce 2 Ultra. My first thought was actually raise my sli monster voodoo 2 12mb cards, but, nope, I’d rather keep those.

Voodoo cards have surprisingly high value for collectors even today, even though they are functionally worthless for modern games. Nostalgia is a powerful drug.
 
Just thought I'd share. Nvidia said they were shipping 17,000 cards to best buy. BB has 1000 stores. That's 7 cards per store.

I am betting more popular stores get more units and so on. But yea that's not a lot of cards for pent up demand.

Start with about 200k, and see how long that takes to sell, At lower quantities, after miners grab an over sized share, it enables scalpers to buy out the rest of the stock.
