AMD addressed that ongoing conundrum today, which has been confusing enthusiasts as to which party was correctly reporting the ideal core: it turns out that Ryzen Master's score is based on overclocking potential, while Windows 10's mapping is derived from the fastest pair of CPU cores within each cluster (CCX). To prevent confusion, AMD is changing Ryzen Master so it reports what Windows 10 does.
