Bethesda’s Pete Hines Confirms That The Elder Scrolls VI Is “Years” Away and Won’t Release Before Starfield

If you haven’t gotten tired of Skyrim yet, that’s a very good thing because you’re in for a very long wait for the next mainline, single-player Elder Scrolls installment. According to Pete Hines, Bethesda’s head of marketing and public relations, The Elder Scrolls VI is actually years away and won’t debut until the studio’s next RPG epic, Starfield, releases.



“It’s after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about,” tweeted Hines in response to a fan who wanted him to “cut the sh*t.” “So if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations.”
