Bethesda.net Launcher Shutting Down This Year, Migrating to Steam

Bethesda is planning to shut down its PC launcher later this year, according to a new article shared by the company that explains how users will be able to migrate their existing game libraries, in-game content, and wallet balance to Steam. While there isn’t an exact date of termination listed in Bethesda’s article, the company has advised users to begin the migration process as soon as possible when it becomes available in early April, as games will no longer be accessible via the Bethesda.net launcher beginning at some point in May. A Bethesda.net account will still be required in order to access game mods and other content.

I would have expected this to transition to the Xbox or Microsoft store. But I'm sure MS wants to avoid accusations of monopoly and this is an easy way to avoid that.

MS already has most of it's games on steam so this seems lind of normal, I also believe that most bethesda games were already on steam.

Still the bethesda launcher always seemed to have FPS issues on my machine so not too ssad to see it go.
