BioWare has confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard won't include any kind of third-party DRM (e.g., Denuvo) when the new fantasy RPG launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 31, and while no specific reason was given in the developer's blog post stating the fact, Michael Gamble, Project Director and Executive Producer at BioWare, has now chimed in, explaining that DRM isn't being introduced because BioWare trusts players not to resort to piracy.

They are already in damage control mode. EA/BioWare is going to claim piracy wrecked sales when that couldn't be further for the truth. Woke / DEI nonsense aside, the games live service underpinnings and cartoonish style worked against it from the start.

I was about to right "It's just a matter of time before Microsoft cans Bioware too"

Then I remembered - even Microsoft stayed away from buying EA... and Microsoft was out there hoovering up anything they could possibly get money to pay for, even if it had syphilis and obvious herpes.
