We already know that Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is hard at work on a sequel to his billion-dollar-grossing superhero blockbuster from 2018, but fans of T’Challa and his hyper-advanced home nation of Wakanda should be happy to hear that there’s even more Black Panther content on the way. As part of a new five-year television deal, Disney announced today (via Deadline) that Coogler and his multimedia company, Proximity Media, would be developing a new drama based on the Kingdom of Wakanda for its increasingly popular streaming service, Disney+.
