Blizzard Fans Are Demanding Refunds for Warcraft III’s Disappointing Remake

“When was the last time Blizzard released a good game?”



The official Warcraft III: Reforged forum is currently ripe with such negativity, as hordes of angry players have flocked to the message boards to call Blizzard out for its shoddy remake attempt. Reforged allegedly does little to improve the original classic, which was released in 2003.



According to one poster, the so-called “reimagining” suffers from all kinds of lazy problems, such as unit movement being locked to an embarrassing 20 FPS. Barely any improvements have been made to the user interface and cutscenes (despite earlier promises), and the translation/localization is reportedly terrible, too.

Activision/Blizzard is a sinking ship. I don't even believe WoW Classic isn't going to save them.
 
As long as Call of Duty continues, Activision will keep doing fine.

I agree that something at Blizzard has tanked significantly. I think they have lost their soul.
 
Blizzard is a shell of its former glory and has, for me, joined the ranks of EA, Ubi, and Bethesda as a studio I will not purchase from, no matter the quality of future games. They were close with the HK thing, and this is the final straw.

I’d say good luck to them, but I wouldn’t mean it.
 
I am saddened by this. I really thought at one time blizzard would be the hold out successful game maker out there in the US. Now.. I don't think we have one that hasn't fallen to corporate malfesence.
