Borderlands, the new sci-fi action comedy inspired by Gearbox Software's same-named series of first-person looter shooters, including, more recently, 2019's Borderlands 3, will likely not be getting a sequel, according to box office numbers that show how the movie has ended its theatrical run with only $31,386,619 following its debut in 10 markets on August 7, 2024.
