I can see both sides of it.
On the one hand it's annoying to have to pay for a charger separately, and it is a way to nickel and dime the consumer. The included charger is also usually thebest, fastest charging solution for your specific model of phone, much better than 3rd party chargers, as it is designed to work with the specific capabilites of the model.
But on the flip side, the e-waste concerns are real. I'm on my third Pixel. The chargers haven't really changed from what I can tell. So, now I ahve a charger in my bed room, one in my home office, and one at work, but after a while I am going to run out of places for them
All of that said, why single out Apple? Sure they were first, but it seems like this is the trend now, and all the device makers are doing it.
