Bungie is reviving one of its classic and legendary IPs, according to sources with industry insider Tom Henderson, who shared a report today claiming that the Destiny maker is developing a new game set in the universe of Marathon.

I have a friend who was a fan of Bungie looooooooong before Halo, and Marathon is one of his favorite series. I wonder how he would feel about them reviving the IP like this. I myself still keep the Marathon games around using Aleph One. Had fun at LANParties playing those too. If I'm not mistaken, one of the Marathon games was the first FPS game to have mouse aim. So thanks for that Bungie!
