A Dutch retailer by the name of Alternate has released a dreary statement regarding the availability of NVIDIA’s extremely popular GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. As relayed by green team and its board partners, Ampere stock is expected to worsen over the course of Q1 2021 due to component shortages and the upcoming Chinese New Year festival, which will prompt the temporary closure of factories across the country and put a halt to production. While the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, GeForce RTX 3070, and GeForce RTX 3090 will all see limited availability, Alternate singled out the GeForce RTX 3080 by suggesting that the flagship would be particularly difficult to find, going so far as to call the chances of getting one...

I have seen several in stock locally.... but the prices are insane

Yeah alternate prices are insane atm, they are realy milking this shortage for the odd card they get in.

Most shops over here don't even list the newest cards since they don't have any anyways.

Yea the only way to get retail locally is to camp at microcenter. Even then it's not garunteed.
