Chris Evans has been rather vocal about the fact that he has little interest in returning as Captain America despite the mind-boggling success of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, but according to Deadline’s sources, the popular actor has had a change of heart and is interested in at least one additional payday from Marvel Studios.
While the chances of a new mainline Captain America installment starring Evans (e.g., The Winter Soldier) appear to be slim, the report seems to be confident that he’ll return in some capacity likened to Robert Downey Jr.’s supporting roles in MCU films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming.
