Computex Not Happening This year? Motherboard and GPU Manufacturers Consider Withdrawing from Expo

The organizers of Computex had previously announced that they had postponed this year’s event to September 28-30 due to COVID-19 concerns, but now, it’s beginning to look like the show won’t happen at all. According to DigiTimes’s sources, major vendors such as Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA have begun contemplating a full withdrawal from the annual expo.



“Asustek Computer said it is currently still following its existing plans for the event,” reported DigiTimes. “But Gigabyte Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI), Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), TUL and Chaintech have all decided to be absent from the tradeshow.”

Will be interesting to see how many follow the rythem method for all conventions this year.

Around August is vmworld. I'd like to go but with everything happening I don't see the company even wanting to cover hotel and transportation.
